Summary
The MyGateway fingerprinting service says fingerprints may be taken for criminal-record checks, immigration, employment, or any other purpose required by an agency or employer.
Who This Applies To
According to the published MyGateway service page, the online fingerprinting path is for:
- Bahamian citizens
- residing in The Bahamas
- age 18 or older
Important Note
The public service description does not publish a fee in the visible service text. Confirm the current charge in the application flow or with the agency before treating the request as complete.
How To Apply
- Open the Royal Bahamas Police Force services in MyGateway.
- Select the fingerprinting service.
- Follow the portal instructions for booking or submitting the request.
- Make sure the receiving agency's fingerprint format or purpose is clear before you submit.
Before You Start
- Know whether the fingerprints are for immigration, employment, criminal-record use, or another formal purpose.
- Confirm whether the receiving agency needs a special card, form, or destination note.
- Be ready to escalate if the request is not a straightforward Bahamian-resident self-service case.
When To Escalate To A Human
- You are not a Bahamian citizen.
- You do not reside in The Bahamas.
- You are under 18.
- The receiving agency requires a special fingerprint format and you are not sure the MyGateway service will satisfy it.
